The Residence Toscana Verde stands in the heart of old Etruria. Originally an old tobacco working factory when tuscan cigars were made, surrounded by a 35 km park. La storia Tabaccaia di Monsoglio ora HOTEL RESIDENCE TOSCANA VERDE Dall’inizio del XX secolo si è sviluppata nel comune di Latrina la coltura e la manipolazione della foglia del tabacco. Questo tipo di attività, che ebbe una notevole diffusione testimoniata dall’alto numero di essiccatoi sparsi in tutto il territorio comunale, è durata fino agli anni ’70. La tabaccaia della fattoria di Monsoglio presenta la tipologia strutturale ricorrente di questi edifici ma con una maggiore estensione longitudinale.
The restaurant of the hotel, La Tabaccaia, is equipped with 4 rooms and a veranda which can accommodate up to 200-250 people. It serves traditional Tuscan cuisine, such as Ribollita, Zuppa di Farro, Pappa con il pomodoro, Arrosti, Umidi game, bistecca alla Fiorentina and the Scottiglia alla Casentinese.
Breakfast is included in the room rate. Dinner is not included and costs EUR 22.00 per person. Lunch is not included and costs EUR 22.00 per person.
